Irene was wonderful — very attentive and knowledgeable and professional. I felt very comfortable with her and would contact her again if I have questions or need support with medical insurance choices. Really enjoyed meeting her.

Coverage for
every chapter
of your life.
Whether you're aging into Medicare, looking at marketplace coverage for the first time, or trying to decide if your current plan still makes sense — I'll help you understand how each option works, in plain English, and walk you through enrollment when you're ready.
Medicare Advantage (Part C)
All-in-one plans that bundle hospital, medical, and usually drug coverage — many with $0 premiums plus extras like dental, vision, hearing, and fitness benefits. I'll help you understand the network, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums so you know exactly what you're getting.
Learn moreMedicare Supplement
Plans G, N, and high-deductible G that sit on top of Original Medicare and pick up most of what it doesn't. If predictable costs and broad doctor access matter more to you than a low monthly premium, this is the conversation we need to have.
Learn morePrescription Drug Plans
I'll review your medication list against the plan formulary — because the "cheapest plan" isn't the right one if it puts your prescriptions on a higher tier. We'll make sure the plan covers what you actually take, at a price that makes sense.
Check my drugsIndividual & Family (ACA)
Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans for anyone under 65 — with the premium tax credits figured in so you see the actual price you'll pay. I'll help you keep your doctor, understand your deductible, and avoid surprises.
Get a quoteDental, Vision & Hearing
Stand-alone plans to fill the gaps Medicare and marketplace plans don't fully cover. Routine exams, cleanings, frames, contacts, and hearing aids — priced honestly so you can see what's worth bundling and what isn't.
Add coverageOngoing Enrollment Support
Once we pick the plan, I stay with you. Appeals, prior authorizations, annual reviews, life-event updates — you don't start over every year with a new person who doesn't know your file.
How it works
Insurance is a tool, not a trap. My job is making sure you know which one you’re actually holding. — Irene B.
Seventeen years in, and I still read every plan.
I started in insurance because a family member was sold coverage that didn't cover the condition she had. That's a story I hear too often. IBHins exists so Floridians across all 67 counties — from Miami to Pensacola, Jacksonville to Key West, and everywhere in between — don't end up in the same spot: reading the wrong fine print, enrolled in the wrong plan, finding out at the pharmacy counter. My promise is simple: I'll explain everything until it makes sense, and I won't enroll you in anything you wouldn't choose for yourself.
Quick Medicare Tips
A short video walkthrough of the basics — handy if you’re newly eligible or helping a parent through enrollment.

-
Plain English, always
MOOP, MAPD, formulary tier, IRMAA — I'll translate the jargon and never use it to make you feel small.
-
Your doctors, your prescriptions, first
Every recommendation starts with your provider list and your medication list — so the plan you enroll in actually fits how you use care.
-
The same person, year after year
No call centers, no scripts, no handoffs. When you call, you get me — and I already know your file.
-
Always free to you
There's no fee for my help — consultation, enrollment, or ongoing support. You never pay me directly. Ever.
Four steps. No pressure.
I've watched too many people avoid this because the industry made it feel scary. It isn't. Here's exactly how working with me looks — from first conversation to the day your card arrives.
Discovery call
A 30-minute conversation — free, no pitch. I learn your doctors, medications, budget, and what coverage actually means for you.
Plan review
I look at your doctors, medications, and budget, then identify the plan that best fits — and explain exactly how it works before you commit to anything.
Review together
We meet again — in person, phone, or video. I walk you through the plan I recommend, explain why it fits, and answer every last question.
Enroll & support
I handle the paperwork. Your cards arrive. And every year at renewal, I review again — because your needs change, plans change, and you deserve both.
The plans I compare daily.
Every household is different. Here are the main plan types you'll hear about — what each one covers, who it's designed for, and how it fits into the bigger picture.
Original Medicare
The federal foundation. I'll help you decide whether this alone is enough, or whether a supplement or Advantage plan on top of it makes more sense for you.
Medicare Advantage
All-in-one plans, often $0 premium, with extras like dental, vision, and OTC allowances. I'll help you understand the network, prior auth, and out-of-pocket max.
Supplement Plans
Plans G, N, and high-deductible G. I'll explain why the cheapest premium today often isn't the cheapest plan long-term.
Prescription Drug Plans
I'll review your medication list against the plan formulary — because the right plan is the one that actually covers what you take.
Dual-Eligible & Special Needs
For those with both Medicare and Medicaid, or with qualifying chronic conditions. Extra benefits and lower costs — but only if you qualify.
Marketplace Plans
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. Subsidy eligibility, HSA options, and how to keep your doctor when you switch.
Gap Coverage
Between jobs? Aging out of a parent's plan? I'll help you bridge the months without overpaying.
Dental, Vision & Hearing
Stand-alone coverage that fills gaps — routine exams, cleanings, frames, contacts, and hearing aids. Often cheaper bought separately.
What clients
have to say.
Every review is from a verified client who worked with me on their Medicare or health coverage. I don't write them, I don't edit them, and I don't pay for them — just honest feedback from the people I've had the privilege to help.

Medicare & coverage news that matters.
Current updates from CMS, the Medicare Rights Center, and other trusted sources — the kind of policy changes that actually affect your premium, your drug coverage, and your enrollment options.
2026 Medicare Advantage and Part D premiums expected to remain stable — and drop slightly.
CMS announced that average Medicare Advantage premiums will fall from 2025 to 2026, and Part D standalone drug plans will see a decline as well. Out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs are capped at $2,100 for 2026 — a meaningful number if you take ongoing medications. This release covers 2026 plan choices, benefits, and what Open Enrollment will look like.

Read the fact sheet →Your 2026 Part D out-of-pocket cap is $2,100 — here’s what it means.
Once your prescription drug spending hits $2,100 in 2026, you pay $0 for covered drugs the rest of the year. The cap moved up from $2,000 in 2025, and most plans now offer a monthly Prescription Payment Plan to spread the cost.

Answers to the questions I hear most.
Can't find your question?
Ask me directly — no form, no chatbot, no hold music. I answer my own emails.
ibotnsure@gmail.comHow much does it cost to work with you?
Zero. Licensed agents are paid a flat commission by the insurance company when a plan enrolls — that compensation is built into the plan and doesn't come out of your pocket. Your premium is identical whether you enroll through me, enroll online by yourself, or call a 1-800 number. The only difference is whether someone walks through the plan with you first.
What's the difference between Medicare Advantage and a Supplement plan?
Advantage (Part C) bundles your Medicare into one plan, usually with a low or $0 premium, network-based care, and extras like dental and vision. A Supplement (Medigap) sits on top of Original Medicare, costs more up front, but gives you nationwide doctor access and very predictable out-of-pocket costs. Neither is universally better — it depends on how you use care and how you feel about monthly cost vs. per-visit cost. That's the conversation.
Can you keep my current doctors?
That's the first thing we check. Give me your doctors and I'll verify network status across every plan you qualify for — before we even talk premiums. A cheap plan that drops your cardiologist isn't cheap.
When can I actually change my Medicare plan?
The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 – December 7. The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment runs January 1 – March 31. But there are also Special Enrollment Periods for moves, losing coverage, qualifying for Extra Help, and more — those can happen any time of year. When we talk, I'll tell you which one applies to you.
I'm turning 65. When should I contact you?
Three to six months before your 65th birthday is ideal. Your Initial Enrollment Period is a seven-month window — three months before your birthday month, the month itself, and three after. Missing it can mean permanent penalties. The earlier we start, the calmer this is.
What if I already have a plan and just want a second opinion?
Happy to review. Bring your summary of benefits and your medication list. If your current plan is the right fit, I'll tell you — and you'll sleep better. If something else would serve you better, I'll explain why. Either way, the call is free.
What areas of Florida do you serve?
I'm licensed and appointed in all 67 Florida counties. My office is based in Clearwater (Tampa Bay area), but I serve Medicare-eligible clients statewide through in-person meetings, phone consultations, and virtual appointments. From Pensacola to Miami, Jacksonville to Key West — if you're in Florida, I can help.
How do I find a Medicare agent near me?
If you're searching for a Medicare agent near you in the Tampa Bay area, my office is in the Countryside area of Clearwater (33761) — a short drive from Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Largo, Tarpon Springs, St. Petersburg, and Tampa. We can meet in person, by phone, or by video, whichever is easiest for you. Wherever you are, look for an agent who is independent, licensed in Florida, and willing to check your doctors and prescriptions before talking plans.
