1. About this site

This website (ibhins.com) is operated by Irene Botouroglou, a licensed Medicare insurance agent in the State of Florida (NPN #20847316). By using this website, scheduling a consultation, or otherwise engaging my services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Scope of services

I provide licensed Medicare insurance services, which includes:

• Explaining how health insurance products work (Medicare, ACA Marketplace, dental, vision, hearing, and supplemental plans)
• Comparing available plans for eligibility, cost, and coverage fit
• Submitting enrollment applications to insurance carriers on your behalf
• Providing ongoing support for plans placed through my office, including annual reviews

3. What my practice is NOT

My practice is not a:

• Law firm or legal service (I cannot give legal advice)
• Accounting or tax service (I cannot give tax advice, though I can explain how subsidies may affect your taxes)
• Medical provider (I cannot give medical advice)
• Financial planner or investment advisor
• Government agency (I am not affiliated with Medicare, CMS, or the Social Security Administration)

4. Cost of services

Consultations, plan comparisons, enrollment assistance, and ongoing support are provided at no cost to you. Licensed insurance agents are compensated by the insurance carriers through commissions when a policy is placed. Your premium is identical whether you enroll with me, enroll online, or call the carrier directly. You are never charged a separate fee for working with me.

5. Accuracy of information

The information on this website is provided for general educational purposes only. Insurance plans, rates, and rules change frequently. While every effort is made to keep information current, I make no guarantee that every detail is accurate or up-to-date at the moment you read it. Always verify plan-specific details with me personally before making an enrollment decision.

6. Your responsibilities

To give you accurate plan recommendations, I rely on the information you provide. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your health situation, providers, medications, and finances
• Notify me of changes that affect your coverage (moves, income changes, new diagnoses, new medications)
• Review plan documents and Summary of Benefits before confirming enrollment
• Make the final decision on which plan to enroll in — I advise, you decide

7. Enrollment disclaimers

By enrolling in an insurance plan through my office, you acknowledge:

• The insurance carrier, not me, is the party responsible for your coverage, claims, and benefits
• Plan terms, networks, formularies, and costs can change annually or during the plan year as permitted by regulation
• No health insurance plan covers 100% of all possible costs; every plan has deductibles, coinsurance, copays, and non-covered services
• Enrollment is subject to eligibility verification by the insurance carrier and CMS

8. Links to third-party sites

This site links to external resources including Medicare.gov, CMS.gov, the Medicare Rights Center, MedicareResources.org, and insurance carrier websites. I do not control these sites and am not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

9. Intellectual property

The content, design, photography, and written materials on ibhins.com are the property of Irene Botouroglou, Licensed Medicare Agent and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, my total liability for any claim arising from use of this website or my services is limited to the amount of commission actually received from the insurance carrier for your specific enrollment. I am not liable for:

• Denied claims or coverage disputes with an insurance carrier (these must be resolved with the carrier directly, though I will help you appeal)
• Decisions made based on outdated information that was not communicated to me
• Failure to qualify for subsidies, Extra Help, or other benefits due to income or eligibility changes not disclosed at enrollment

11. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or my services will be resolved in the state courts of Pinellas County, Florida, under Florida law. You retain your right to file a complaint with the Florida Department of Financial Services at any time.

12. Termination of services

Either you or I may end the advisory relationship at any time. If you switch to a different agent of record for a plan placed through my office, notify me so records can be transferred properly. Existing coverage is not affected by ending the advisory relationship.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the "Last Updated" date at the top will change. Your continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
